Belgrade,   the Serbian Capital,
is the meeting point of the impetuous Sava River and the mighty Danube, the East and the West, where beautiful girls with mysterious eyes are born. It is one of the oldest cities in Europe. Destined by its position at the intersection of roads, where cultures and civilisations clashed, it had been completely demolished dozens of times, like no other capital in Europe. Belgrade is the centre of culture and nightlife of Southeast Europe. Belgrade means "White City". Belgrade’s greatest treasure, one that leaves strong impression on nearly all visitors from abroad, are Belgraders themselves!
